Secrets and Shadows

Claire was relieved when the  bell rang and she then looked at the schedule, " Hmmmm, oh, math is next. The subject I hate." She then raised her eyebrows when Tracie walked uo to Pietr. She rolled her eyes irritably and crossed her arms. She then flipped her hair, " Yeah we have to go to our next class so...bye."

Cole smiled and wrapped his arm around Claire's waist loosely as they walked to math "Dont worry i don't like math much eather" he said softly chuckling. They sat through math again Pietr had to introduce himself yet again then sat beside Claire again. Then the bell rang again.

Claire smiled and blushed deeply when he wrapped his arm around her waist and soon they got to math and it was really boring and she didn't pay attention. Soon the bell rang though and she sighed with relief.

Pietr smiled at her blush, he yawned slightly while listening to formulas and writing necessary things for the quiz tomorrow, he sighed his first day and he already had a quiz to study for. Pietr smirked and got out a piece of paper and wrote "Claire- I heard that homecoming is this weekend. Would you be willing to go with me? - Yours Pietr Rusakova" and he handed it to her when the were on their way to their next class. He again wrapped his arm around her waist.

Claire sighed with boredom as she wrote some important things down. She smiled when Pietr handed her a piece of paper. She opened it up and read it in her head, " Yes. I'll go with you." She smiled very happily and she put her head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arm around her waist again.

Pietr smiled and kissed the top of her head her scent filling his nose. He looked up and met the eyes of his eldest brother Max and the look in his eyes made Pietr stiffen and a possessive snarl built in the pit of his stomach, but wait what if she wasn't a werewolf, Pietr turned and walked away from his brother with Claire he couldn't lose her now, the day dragged on lunch was awkward, he turned down every girl who asked him out or to homecoming. Finally it was the last hour of the day and he sat by Claire again glancing at her every so often. She was beautiful.

Claire smiled and blushed a little when his lips touched her head. She then looked at the other guy that was with Pietr when she first walked into the principal's office, he looked furious for some reason. She then brushed it off and her and Pietr just walked off together. When they got to lunch she was so annoyed because a bunch of girls kept asking Pietr to go to homecoming with them. She felt very lucky that she was going to homecoming with him. And soon it was the last period of the day.

Cole sighed and looked at the clock and grumbled softly more then 20 minutes left of this class and he was finished with the small assignment. He yawned slightly and stretched he was so bored. "Ok class for the next 15 minutes of class you can have free time" the teacher said. Pietr sighed in relief and scooted his desk closer to Claire's and messed with her long black hair.

Claire was almost finished with her assignment when the teacher said they could have free time. Her eyes brightened and she looked at Pietr and smiled when he moved his desk next to hers. She laughed softly when he started messing around with her hair.

Pietr smiled back at Claire "You know you are very beautiful" he said softly to only they could hear it, he blushed deeply when he said it and he sighed looking at her in the eyes with his navy blue eyes with a gold ring around the iris.

Claire smiled and blushed, she then whispered into his ear, " And you're very handsome." She then stared into his handsome breathtaking eyes and her heart started pounding in her chest and she felt like she had butterflies in her stomach

Pietr cleared his throat as he blushed and scratched the back of his neck nervously. His body warmed and his stomach fluttered and he jumped slightly as the bell rang school was out.

Claire smiled at Pietr and looked at him flirtatiously before jumping up when the bell rang. She looked at Pietr, " Well I guess school is over then. I'll see you at homecoming." she winked and smiled at him.

Pietr sighed he was happy school was out but at the same time he wished he could stay with Claire. "Yea, Ill see you at homecoming, Here call me or text me whenever" He said giving her his number on a piece of paper. then walking off to his blue ford mustang.

Claire smiled, " Alright." She then walked over to her car which was a red 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. She then unlocked the doors and went inside before shutting the door and locking it. She then started her car.

Cole started his car up with a roar and waited for his siblings to pile in. He sighed and messed with his phone for a little bit then he looked up to see Max walking stiff towards his car, oh boy this is going to be one hell of a fight a home.

Claire then buckled her seatbelt before then backing out of the parking lot. She then started driving to her house and she soon was there. She then unbuckled her seatbelt before getting out and locking the doors. She then unlocked the front door and was greeted by her parents. She smiled at them and greeted them back before going upstairs and into her room. She then gently shut the door and sat on her bed. She started thinking about Pietr and was very excited since homecoming was tomorrow.

Cole drove home tonight didn't feel normal when he arrived at his house Alexi was standing out with his arms crossed. "Erm hey Alexi whats going on?" he said softly as he walked up to him "You should know your birthday is tonight and your going to be 17 you know whats going to happen little brother." Alexi growled "Yes i know" Pietr grumbled "Pietr, Max told me you are getting friendly with a girl at school" "So what Alexi! You are still friendly with a girl in Moscow and she isn't like one of us!" Pietr growled as stormed into the house and in his room. His hands shook and his sensed were beginning to get sharper he sighed and walked out side "Alexi the chhhaanngee" He said his voice becoming a low growl as the wolf inside him begged to come out.

Soon Claire heard a knock on her door and she called, " Come in!" Her dad then opened the door and smiled, " Dinner's ready sweetheart." Claire replied, " Alright." She then walked out of her bedroom door and her father and her then went downstairs. Claire then sat at her usual seat at the table and she then waited until her mother and he father were seated until she started eating her dinner, which was alfredo pasta with grilled chicken in it. And she also finished her cup of fruit punch before then thanking her parents for dinner. And she then ran back upstairs and changed into a solid white pajama dress before then getting ready for bed. She then went under the covers of her bed and lay there, thinking about Pietr once again.

Alexi inhaled sharply as he could hear Pietr's joints slip and pop as the change went further on and hair sprouted along Pietr's neck back and torso, a snarl tore through Pietr's chest then he howled loud and long, it reverberated through the trees. His now burning red eyes focused on Max and his lips pulled back as Max changed "Brotherrrr" he managed through his clenched teeth then everything snapped and Pietr changed back. He thought of Claire and he sighed he was a monster now.

Claire was getting ready for homecoming and her parents were at work. She HAD to look good for Pietr. She was wearing a solid red dress that was knee length and it had no straps on the shoulders. And she had her hair in a bun. She was wearing silver loop earings and red high heels. She was also wearing a
solid red bracelet on her right arm. She also had on black mascara and a little red eyeshadow with red lip gloss. She looked stunning and hoped Pietr would think the same. She then brushed her teeth, used mouthwash, floss, and went to the bathroom before walking out the door and into her car.

Pietr was giddy with excitement it was homecoming and he was going with the most beautiful girl in the school. He had on a black jacket a white poets shirt, black trousers and black dress shoes. He combed his hair to were it was soft and touchable, he brushed his teeth,flossed, and used mouth wash just in case they kissed, he hoped. He walked out and got into his car and drove to the school. There he stood leaning on his car and hands in his pockets he received alot of lustful stairs from the girls.

Claire then unlocked the doors and went inside her car before shutting the doors and locking them. She then buckled her seatbelt and then started the car and soon got to school. When she parked and was already out of the car, she looked around and saw Pietr leaning on his car, he looked so hot, as always. She was very nervous and excited at the same time. She then walked over to him and smiled, " Hey."
