Maret was different from just an average unicorn. No, no. He was a god. His story forgotten over the eons, his tale of valor and mystery shrouded and left to rot. He controlled the stars, creating them from the antlers and sending them off to the night sky. Despite his deer appearance, he was in fact a mix of both deer and horse. Odd, wasn't it? Without parents, he was created from the essence of sheer magic.
But that didn't matter now, Maret was no more than a mere creature in the eyes of both human and animal now. As he trotted along the gorgeous forest, laced with crystals and other babbles he would find himself a rope around his head. "We got it!" A voice said, Maret did not remember much. But humans had caught him.
He was dragged towards a simple camp, blinking his eyes as he realized these humans were raiders. They stole whatever they could, and killed those they pleased. The creature turned his head, a sigh heaving from him. How many years would he be with these... barbarians?
