Velocity stalked through the forest tail like a feathered whip as it swayed to side at his movements. His slitted pupils examining the area around him. Most Velociraptors are with a 'tribe' with other raptors. Though in this region he remained was harsh and not many of his kind did well here. He made low rumble like sounds his nostrils flarinf. Raptors did not rule this land indeed, mostly T-Rexes called this place their domain pushing out most of the other less powerful predators. Velocity though was not pushed away and he hid in the shadows watching at the Tyrans killed and chased his kind out of the region.

He cocked his head freezing a shriek like sound leaving him as his feathers ruffled. His alert eyes scanned the clearing. Another creature was approaching and at a quick speed. He was preparing to race off to avoid any wounds, but he knew this wasnt a predatortk wards him.. Why would his own kind do that?

Blithe was a lone raptor of her species, since it was uncommon in the area for a pack of them to be here. She lived off of scraps, and left over from bigger predators. It was a decent living, and she was surviving as of right now. As she traveled across the dense forest, her claws clicking on any fallen tree and simply leaping over, she flicked her partially feathered tail. Her nostrils flaring.

It was a class alarm, and though it was one of his species it was nowhere near him. His feathers relaxed as he let off another screech like roar before moving through the brush. He would meet the raptor later, but now he was busy with himself. His sensitive nostrils flared as he searched for food. He had contemplated on attacking a young Pachy, but he moved back as a larger male approached tempting him to even try. His dew claw twitched knowing if he did have a tribe he would have no problem.

His sharp fangs appeared as he warned the male. The male snorted clawing at the ground and Velocity leapt away growling before moving on. The raptors scent bugged him and he finally called out.

She kept running through the partially silent woods, the sound of shifting leaves and bugs chirping to one another as they mingled and relaxed. She clicked her teeth, her feet tearing up the ground as she ran in no destination. Just going forward.

Blithe soon stopped, her claws skidding in the grass as she heard a call. The female responded, a loud screech to the one who called, another raptor in this area?

He was a bit curious of the raptor who enetered such a dangerous grounds. He clicked his fangs softly as well his tail swaying in excitement. The raptor responded and he began to streak through the jungle aware of his surroundings in case of a predator. He had gone unnoticed for so long and he tried to keep it that way. He kept out another shriek pinpoiting his location though he was a bit edgy Tyrans scent notable in the humid breeze. His amber eyes looked around shifty.

She remained still, hearing for another screech from the other raptor. Her head cocked as she tried to take in sound that wasn't the leaves or any bugs. Soon as the screech entered her ears, she responded again with another loud shriek. Preparing to follow the source of the raptor screeching.

His breathing became shallow as he backed away a bit light clocking sounds escaping his throat as a warning. Anothter soft shriek escaped as he knew danger lurked near.. Watching and waiting in the shadows. He went along low in the bushes alert his guard up his teeth on display.

Blithe let out one final screech, pawing at the ground with her strong hind legs. Listening to the faint warning sounds as she cocked her head, trying to listen. She soon began trotting away, her long thick tail swaying with each step.

He was near the raptors scent strengthening, but he knew he was being tailed. He screeched once moe blazing off taking wild turns in the jungle trying to lose. 'Its' trail. He heard loud rumbles behind him and he does up being far more agile and quick. Whatever it was it was far behind and it let out a deafening roar. That's when he knew Tyran..

Blithe had heard the screeches and roars deeper into the forest, that was a signal for her to start running. She kicked up the grass as she began bolting away, not bothering to respond if something was chasing the raptor. Bringing herself to a more narrow part of the forest, her winged arms close to her chest.

He took a tight turn after spotting the shallow stone den and he took no time to enter it crouching low in the den quivering. The beast roared sniffing nearing the cave. It wasn't long before it reaches it roaring looking into it growling. Though the creature didn't see him and snarled leaving to find other. Though Velocity remained not taking chances.

She came to a halt as the forest became still again, once again she was alone. Blithe clicked her teeth in disappointment, going back to wandering. She did feel a bit guilty for not responding, she didn't like being alone. Hunting by herself was not like hunting in a pack.

Blithe could see a den in the distance, she was curious to approach but hesitant at the same time. What if something dangerous lived in there? She was unsure if she should take the chance.

His breathing was heavy as he quivered. He was so close to death,bjt now the beast was far off probably scanning the beach for unlucky prey. He stayed silent though not wanting to attract any attention. Though he was a bit dissapointed in loosing his chance of a hunting helper he focused on calming himself.

The female clicked her teeth, approaching the den carefully with her teeth bared. Just in case, her claws scraping against the grass as she let out one final call, studying the cave and sniffing.

Though after he relaxed her heard snarls and he slunk down. Though from the sounds of it he could take it on. So he leapt from the cave shrieking his claws outstretched as he pinned the creature shrieking in its face fangs dripping with saliva.

Blithe was taken down, unaware that there was actually something inside the cave. She would try to fight back, warm drool splattering on her face. She stopped squirming and trying to fight back as she realized it was the raptor that had been calling her.

He paused seeing it was a raptor. He leapt off his feather sprayed out in a defensive system. He was cautious of the raptor before him. He awaited her next response as he made light clicking sounds.

She remained on her back for a while as he got off of her, kicking her hind legs before rolling onto her stomach. It took her a brief minute for her to rise back onto her two legs. Staring at the male, her head cocked to the side as he remained wary of her.

He remained a minute before "Hello." His rusty voice breaking through. He hasn't spoken in forever.

At his words, she stared at him. Her purple tinged wings twitching as she scratched at her face. "Hey," Blithe replied finally. "Were you the one calling?"

His dew claws twitched as he shifted "Yes.." He replied a bit awkward.

"Ah." She said, cocking her head. "I was so relieved, I've been alone for so long. Not a lot of... our kind around here," Blithe dipped her head. Clicking her teeth again as she looked over towards the cave. "Is that yours?"

His frazzled feather lay cool against his neck and tail now as he responded "Agreed.. I was sure those damn Tyrans chased them away. Its nice to see another." He said tail twitching in excitement. His sensitive receptors in his nose taking in the raptors scent getting important information. His mouth closed his fanags dissapearing under.

""Yes.. Most of us were thrown off into another region.. I didn't follow." He pointed out his right forearm raising as he pointed a claw at her "Why are you here?, and no that's not mine." He said looking at the dusty small cave.

The male stalked through the dense forest, his sharp green eyes scanning through the area. Aren felt more safe when there was tree's, bushes and another Forestry stuff, surrounding him. Some may say that they do not feel safe where predators could easily ambush them. But, right now, Aren wasn't the prey. He was the predator. He was hunting. and right now, he was sniffing the air for something easy for a meal.
